Our spacious beach house
was built in 1998 in a post and beam style with wrap-around decking and
a screened in porch. Ample living space of 2000 sq. ft. ensures comfortable
cohabitation!
The main level features an open style ‘great room’ with cathedral
ceilings and a wood burning stove. Impressive woodworking details in
the pine interior incorporate 100-year-old beams. The house has plank
flooring throughout and generous picture windows. The ocean is always
in view with 25 feet of windows facing the beach and a sunset view from
the screened porch.
Marcelay is fully furnished and well equipped for family needs with
a satellite TV, DVD, VCR, stereo, telephone and washer/dryer. The kitchen
has modern appliances including microwave and conventional range. Outdoor
cooking is enjoyed with a gas BBQ. All utensils, glassware, china, and
cookware are provided. Meals are served at the harvest table or in the
screened porch. We expect that high speed Internet will be available
starting in May, 2010.
Marcelay has a three-bedroom arrangement (linen and bedding provided).
The main floor bedroom has twin beds and a bathroom (with shower) across
the hall. Upstairs the second bedroom has two double bunks and a half
bath across the hall. The master bedroom (20 x 32 feet) has sweeping
views of the beach and an ensuite, antique, tub and sink. The double
bed is situated on a platform to take advantage of the view. High speed
internet is provided.
